Bayanihan — the Filipino spirit of communal unity and cooperation — is the philosophy behind FilipinoEventsNearMe.org. We believe the Filipino-American community is strongest when its organizations work together: when a student at UCLA can find the same event listing as a grandmother in Waipahu, when a Philippine Consulate announcement reaches both the newly arrived and the third-generation Filipino American.
Our partners are organizations across government, culture, advocacy, and academia who share this belief. By connecting their programming, events, and resources to our community calendar, we help ensure that no Filipino-American celebration goes unnoticed — and no Filipino American misses the events that connect them to their heritage.
